AGRO

FROM LAND TO TABLE

︎︎︎Agro is a sustainable design project that ‘encourages the dynamics of the traditional markets’ of Barcelona as an awareness to give relevance to the consumption of local and seasonal products. Proposes a social educational way to enter the world of haute cuisine through a culinary experience aiming to ‘improve the habits of their customers when purchasing, cooking and eating’. Approaching a circular economy, users can generate a bio-design product by recycling food waste from the market.

‘AGRO BIOPLASTICS’

Bioplastic is a type of plastic derived from organic raw materials, in our case from organic waste, more specifically from fruit and vegetable remains. We designated a collection of bags made from the compostable products of the market leftovers, embracing a sustainable circular economy that is biodegradable.

‘AGRO BIOCERAMICS’

Bioceramics are an important subset of biomaterials and are made from resorbable materials. The bioceramic tableware originates from the organic waste that is generated in the market, more specifically, with the shells of the eggs that go to waste.
