BIMBA’ SPLAINING
YOUR MOST SANE MADNESS‘Bimba’ spleining’ is a fresh creative direction for Bimba & Lola's new campaign, aimed at relaunching the brand with a bold, new perspective. Drawing inspiration from the concept of mansplaining, the campaign reinterprets the term to capture the —‘the most sane madness’— of the brand's female community. The campaign’s messaging emphasizes how this community embodies empowerment, expressing a lifestyle that encourages women to dress according to how they feel, both inside and out. In an era dominated by influencer marketing, everyday situations are presented within an ordinary context, only to be disrupted by absurd and unique actions. These moments serve to highlight the brand's playful, yet grounded sense of doses of ‘sane madness.’
‘TEA TIME’ — SPOT 1
“This story portrays a situation where our protagonist, ‘Violeta’, is about to have tea. The space is introduced with a relaxing ambient sound, where there is a table set with white and blue ceramic dishware and white-painted iron furniture, in what seems to be the garden of her house. Once we are situated in the scene we see Violeta enter with a large vase of flowers, which she brings to the table where she will have her tea.”
“This ordinary and elegant setting is disrupted by a series of completely unusual actions carried out by our protagonist. These actions aim to represent the dose of madness that lies within her, and that Bimba y Lola provides through its style. ‘Violeta’, challenges the viewer to share different scenarios where they can add their own dose of madness.”

‘TENNIS MATCH’ — SPOT 2
“The scene is set with a relaxed ambient sound; we see a white bench with a dark blue towel on top, placed on what seems to be grass in a field. In the background, there’s a metal fence and beyond that, some vegetation. Our character, Margarita, appears. She sits on the bench, and we see her preparing for what we believe will be a tennis match. She pulls up her socks, drinks water, stands up, and heads to the court.”
“Once in position, she puts on a visor and does a few stretches to warm up. Then we see her getting ready to serve. But instead of a tennis ball flying, we identify it as a completely unusual object.”
