GLUTTONY

RECKLESS EXTRAVAGANCE

This immersive project delves into the concept of ‘Gluttony’, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, through an evocative and sensory-rich experience. The installation is designed to confront the viewer with the indulgence, excess, and insatiable desire that characterizes gluttony, transforming the space into a visceral manifestation of this sin. The environment is bathed in deep purple and dark hues, creating a sense of opulence and decay, reflecting the hedonistic and often overwhelming nature of it.

‘THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE’

The room is enveloped in smoke, creating an otherworldly, suffocating atmosphere that blurs the line between satisfaction and overindulgence. The darkness adds mystery, drawing the viewer deeper into the space and inviting them to explore hidden desires. Neon lights in purples, pinks, and sickly greens give the space an artificial, seductive glow, amplifying a sense of hyperreality where fantasy and excess merge.
The lights pulse with intensity, mirroring the cycles of craving and consumption, reinforcing the gluttonous nature of the experience. It creates an atmosphere where the line between fantasy and overindulgence becomes indistinct and fluid.
