IN RELATION TO EACH OTHER






︎︎︎Since 1998, Saint-Étienne Regional School of Fine Arts (currently named Esadse) has been organizing the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne, an eclectic design event that prompts contemporary creations. It is built up with exhibitions and strong statements about design accessible to all audiences within a festive atmosphere punctuated by events, visits, and workshops. The symposiums and gatherings are a genuine laboratory of the contemporary world. Held at the Cité du Design the supposed event theme was simply: ‘In relation to each other’. Through the lens of design and its democratization within multiple applications, the identity created was built around the concept of ‘Perspectives’.  




‘XPHERES 360o

The pack that includes the six Xpheres provides the user with a wholly immersive experience itself. Each of the Xpheres is characterized by textures and adjectives and the connection between all of them creates a sensorial trip that can be interpreted by the user. Each person that has this set interprets the Xpheres with a specific musical experience that they want to record and replay, according to what they feel by touching each product.

‘BRAND GUIDELINESS’

The graphic system is designed to complement the architecture of the venue where the media event takes place. Semi-abstract triangular shapes and their consistent repetition serve as a strong visual resolution. The generative branding for the exhibition reflects the duality between the artists' perspectives on their work and their relationship with the audience. This visual approach captures two contrasting viewpoints that coexist simultaneously, aligning with the concept of iterative design.
